Does CertWatch check that a certificate is compliant?+
No. CertWatch is a reminder and document-collection tool. It stores the PDF and the expiry date you confirm; it doesn’t verify coverage, limits, endorsements or authenticity. Your team stays in charge of review.
Do subcontractors need an account?+
No. Every reminder includes a secure upload link that works once and expires. Subs can forward it to their broker.
What happens when a sub uploads a renewal?+
It lands in your review queue as “pending your review.” Nothing changes until you confirm the expiration date and accept it. Reminders for that coverage pause in the meantime.
What if I cancel?+
Reminders stop and your records stay put. You can export everything as a CSV from Settings whenever you like.
